Terms of Use

Welcome to the Keepico application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application, web interface, and related cloud media storage services (hereinafter referred to as "Services").
The operator of the App is Devhric s.r.o., with its registered office at Dolné Dubové 285, 919 52, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO): 51675960 (hereinafter referred to as "Provider" or "we").
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Account and Registration
1.1. To use the Services, registration and the creation of a user account are required.
1.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
1.3. The Service is intended for persons older than 16 years. If you are under 16, use of the App is permitted only with the consent of a legal guardian.
2. Description of Services and Usage
2.1. Keepico provides users with space for cloud storage and management of media files (photos, videos).
2.2. Personal Use: The Services and storage are intended exclusively for personal and non-commercial use. All uploaded files are for your own use.
2.3. The Provider strives to ensure uninterrupted availability of the Services but does not guarantee 100% availability without outages for maintenance or technical reasons.
3. Premium Services and Payments
3.1. Some features of the App or extended storage are charged as part of premium packages ("Premium Services").
3.2. Payments for Premium Services are processed through the Stripe payment gateway. The user acknowledges that their payment details (card number, expiration validity) are processed directly by this third party, and the Provider does not store them.
3.3. Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions are recurring (e.g., monthly or yearly) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration.
3.4. Cancellation and Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time in the App or web interface settings. After cancellation, access to Premium Services will remain active until the end of the current prepaid period. Payments for already commenced periods are non-refundable unless applicable law states otherwise.
4. User Content
4.1. The User retains all copyright to the content (photos, videos) uploaded to the App ("User Content").
4.2. By uploading content, you grant the Provider a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, back up, and display this content solely for the purpose of technically providing the Services in the manner requested by you.
4.3. It is strictly prohibited to upload content that:
- is illegal,
- infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights of third parties,
- contains child pornography or sexually explicit material,
- incites hatred, violence, or discrimination.
4.4. The Provider reserves the right to immediately remove any content and suspend the account of a user who violates these rules, even without prior notice.
5. Termination
5.1. By You: You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support or through functionality within the App (if available).
5.2. By Us: The Provider may cancel or suspend your account in the event of a serious or repeated violation of these Terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. The Services are provided "as-is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, lost profit, or other damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
6.2. Although we make every effort to protect your data, we recommend that users maintain their own backup copies of important files outside the App.
7. Final Provisions
7.1. These Terms are governed by the legal order of the Slovak Republic.
7.2. In the event of any disputes, the courts of the Slovak Republic shall have jurisdiction.
